The Confident Working Woman Podcast
I’m Sharon, HR professional with 30 years’ experience, working mom of two, leadership facilitator, and MAP-certified coach.
I built my confidence and business in the margins of a full-time job, while navigating fear, visibility, money pressure, and career uncertainty.
This podcast is for corporate women who want to feel safer, more confident, and more in control of their careers without quitting their jobs or burning out.
Here, we talk about:
• Career resilience in uncertain times
• Overcoming fear of being seen (especially on LinkedIn)
• Building visibility and reputation safely while employed
• Creating income options using your existing skills
• Emotional regulation, clarity, and confidence under pressure
• Real stories from a real working mom — no hustle, no perfection

The Confident Working Woman Podcast
113. Remain Hopeful as You Persist in Working Towards Your Dreams
The key to transforming your dreams to reality is your ability to hold the space for both seeing your current reality - where you’re not yet at your goals yet - and be totally ok with that as you continue working towards achieving them.
A lot of people can’t do this, they give in to the frustration and disappointment of not achieving their goals at the time they want to, or totally giving up and telling themselves it’s not possible.
How do you cultivate this ability to do both - accept and detach from your current situation and at the same time, feel good and positive about taking one step at a time towards your dreams and goals, no matter what’s happening in your life?
This is the topic I share in this week’s episode.
If developing the ability to do this is something that you’re curious about, I’d like to invite you to join my Meetup group for women where we meet each week to go through this demo LIVE so you can experience it first hand for yourself.
